Seth Lietz is currently on the pharmacology MSci programme at University College London. He has followed Liberate the Debate since its inception, and has has greatly enjoyed watching them grow into a widely known and highly respected society at The University of Sussex.

Seth has observed "they [LtD] have been instrumental in facilitating real, honest discussion, in a place where debate has, on numerous occasions, been stifled, and events have been shut down. Despite facing various obstacles, LtD has grown into something much greater than just a society. They have become a community which represents a truly diverse range of individuals, each with different social, political and cultural beliefs, which is exemplified by the numerous chapters now established across the UK". As someone who is fully committed to the notion of free speech, Seth will serve as UCL’s representative for Liberate the Debate, as we enter the next phase of our development.
